Quick, efficient and convenient food delivery
For those time-precious and lazy folks like me, Foodora, is the way to go if you need your lunch or dinner delivered conveniently to your doorstep. Foodora is the new and upcoming food delivery service available in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. As a uni student, I got bored of the food on campus pretty quickly and although venturing out of campus is an option, I often can’t be bothered to make the trek during my break between lectures.
So I decided to give Foodora a go and opted for my favourite burger joint, Chur Burger, reviewed by us previously here. The ordering system online is easy and convenient, just visit https://www.foodora.com.au/.
Our top tips for ordering:
- Best to create an online account so your details can be saved for future visits. Also, the website works better on Chrome or Firefox rather than Safari.
- Make sure you order in advance of your break as it does take 30 minutes to arrive so you can maximise your eating time during your break.
- If you’re delivering to a big institute with multiple entrances like a university, then best to drop the pin to the nearest spot the website recognises, then write a note to the delivery person on where exactly to meet you.
We ordered the pulled pork and lamb burger. It came within about 30 minutes and was still hot. Phew! Worst fear with food delivery is your food arriving cold and soggy which has happened a few times in the past with other delivery services. Enjoying these delicious burgers on the uni lawn was the perfect way to spend our lunch break.
