Duners!
While the days may, inevitably, be getting colder, things are heating up on Dune Network!
Development:
- Mainnet upgrades have been successfully implemented!
- Occurring on November 5th, at block-height 83400, new features included in the upgrade include; IronMin, Collect-call contracts, improved p2p communication layer, offline signing of operations and more!
- On top of this, there have been some exciting developments with regards to DuneDEX. On-going negotiations mean I can’t say too much for now but rest assured, updates are incoming!
Media:
- Journal Du Coin, the “number-one in French-speaking crypto news” released their in-depth Podcast interview with Starchain Capital co-founder, Cyril Paglino, and Dune Network CFO, Aymeric de Follin, this week! Check out the full video below!
Community:
- Just when you thought he couldn’t be any more of a nice guy, Crabby Paddy produces a step-by-step guide to setting up your own Dune baker! Crabby describes it as ‘a walk-through for those who’ve never touched Linux in their life!’. It will be posted in full on Medium soon, but for now, if you’d like a copy, simply ask on our Discord or Telegram channels.
- And for those who’d rather let someone else take care of the ovens for you, check on this fantastic guide to delegating your Dune by Anonstake!
- And in staying with the community spirit, we’ve also kicked off our long-awaited Dune Ambassador Programme! A huge thank you to those who’ve come aboard already! I’m looking forward to working with each of you to spread the word!
- Fret not if you’ve yet to apply, Duner, you can still join here!
- To round things off for today, anticipation is high for the opening night celebrations of The Garage! Tuesday the 12th is the night we’ll know more!
