Duners!

The number thirteen is much maligned in common mythology as an “unlucky” number. While the origins of this superstition are unclear, it’s plain to see there’s been nothing but good omens in Dune Network this week!

Development:

  • A step-by-step guide to setting up a private Dune Network has been released. This in-depth technical walk-through explains everything you’ll need to deploy and administrate a private network with custom constants. Read the full post, here.
  • Beta testing of Dune Metal has been rocking away with finger-blistering speed. Many thanks to all in the community who have been battle testing with us. If you’d like to see how it plays for yourself, come join our Discord!
  • And for everyone who has updated your Ledger to firmware 1.6, we also have a new beta version of the Dune Ledger App available for use. You can download it, here.

Community:

  • The Garage has played host to the first ever Dune Network Developer workshop this week. The free three-day event was a packed schedule of learning, aimed at various backgrounds and skill levels, and by all accounts was a successful first-run!
  • A massive thank to community member Mess, who has taken time to integrate Dune into his Telegram crypto swapping platform. DuneXSwapIntegration not only let’s you swap eleven other coins directly for Dune, but you can also play Dice for a little light fun! Check it out, here.

Until next week, Duners!
