As ever, it’s been another incredibly fast-paced week for the team here at Dune Network!
Let’s dive right into it!
Development;
- Making a splash this week, the Dune Network Testnet has been successfully upgraded. New features, including contracts that pay users’ fees, an improved P2P communication layer and, of course, Ironmin, have been added!
- Battle testing of these features has already begun and, all being well, will be launched onto the Mainnet in early November! Full details are given here.
Media Coverage;
- Dune Network has appeared on its first own full-feature podcast! Huge thanks to the Crypto Core Media team for having us. You can listen to the full interview with Fabien here!
Community and partnerships;
- We’ve got some great new developments in this department for you today! First up, I am super-excited to share with you the first announcement of DuneID!
- In an exclusive partnership with a leading European and West African payment provider, DuneID will bring KYC and digital identity services to more than 600-thousand customers in these regions! With many other areas of synergy already being discussed, expect to hear plenty more on this partnership over the coming weeks!
- In other big news, if you’ve been paying close attention, you may have noticed an intriguing new profile being born onto Twitter this week; The Garage.
- The mysterious new project and its team,(comprised of experts from Dune Network, The Family and Starchain Capital) are keeping their cards close to their chest! I can confirm, however, that “The biggest blockchain incubator in Europe” will be revealing more details over the next 28 days! Keep your eyes peeled and your engines at the ready!
