How much I earn from Medium by writing inconsistently — Very little

I have been writing on Medium for a while, but my articles are only published occasionally. It depends on my routine and mood of writing.

With a total 500 plus articles published in almost 3 year, how well did i fare?

Needless to say, I did not fare very well. Still, I am earning to some extent. Like 4 dollars in the previous month.

I used to earn 30 dollars a month, but those were the days of proper writing and reading on Medium.

The reason behind not earning well is I did not commit myself enough compared to other writers. I just open the Medium whenever I want, write a story, and hit the publish button without taking a second glance.

To earn a decent amount of money on the medium would mean that you will need to write and publish several times a week.

As such, my earnings did not end well due to my lack of commitment, dedication, and consistency.

As I’m writing on a medium based on interest, I did not publish any articles that are targeting “attention”.

This is probably my basic intention was to improve my writing and creative skills on medium.
