The National Technological Initiative Platform announced “Tech Breakthrough 2021”Award

Tech Breakthrough Award is aimed at identifying, supporting and popularizing outstanding technological projects, solutions and achievements of Russian companies, R&D centers and educational organizations.

The prize is awarded to project leaders, scientists, product developers for their significant contribution to the development of the domestic technology business and significant achievements in the technological development of the country at the end of 2021.

In 2021, the Prize was included in the list of additional events of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia.

The results of the “Technological Breakthrough 2020” competition were summed up at the end of December, 2020 — 11 best projects that meet the world level or even outstrip it were named. The results were obtained in a number of markets and areas: in the field of artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, quantum technologies, smart power grids, new materials and energy sources, and unmanned vehicles.
