Our mission and why we hope to make things better
Let’s start from our last point. It is easier to ask a friend for advice on travels than to plan ourselves or book with a travel agent.
So, why?
First, when you speak to a friend or an acquaintance, you don’t need to make as much effort to interpret their opinions. You know them or you know them through someone so you have an idea of what they like, dislike, what they tolerate, what they are picky on…You have some background!
In addition, they know you and they know how you see the world, they either think like you or they can understand where you are coming from.
That is why Efyia is here!
We truly believe that this is the best way to plan our trips, that we should always have this friend to rely on (either just for a quick chat or to ask him/her to plan our perfect holidays).
At Efyia, we know and we admit that the world is biased! Not everyone can understand you and not everyone has the same sensitivity.
We want to create a community of travellers that reflects our world, with the good and the less good. We want everyone to be able to find “friends” to help them plan their trips. We want you to be able to ask everything that is important for you when you travel.
So whether you want to visit South America or Africa, whether you prefer 5* hotels or Airbnb, whether you travel with your loved one or your dog, whether you are sensitive on how locals react to your skin colour or not,… we have a friend to help you. Everything that matters to you, should matter when you travel!
