Elepig Token Sale Walkthrough — Part 4
Transferring ETH from Coinbase to MyEtherWallet

We have created a series of process walkthroughs providing instructions on how to participate in the Elepig Token Sale. This post covers Step 4 in the process:
1. Setting up an Exchange account to change fiat into crypto
2. Buying ETH from an Exchange
3. Setting up an address on a wallet that supports participating in Token Sales

5. Completing Elepig Token Sale registration
6. Sending ETH to the Token Sale address
There are other exchanges and wallets you may use in the crypto space. This walkthrough focuses on using Coinbase and MyEtherWallet.

Transferring ETH from an Exchange to a wallet
The following are steps to transfer ETH from Coinbase to MyEtherWallet. They are adapted from the latest process steps at www.support.coinbase.com
Step 1:
- Navigate to the Accounts link on the main navigation bar
2. Select the Send button for the digital currency wallet that you’d like to send from (ETH)
3. On the send dialog, select Wallet Address. Enter your ETH address that you just created in MyEtherWallet. Copy and paste is best (to avoid human error) and DOUBLE CHECK it is correct. Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.
4. Enter the amount of Ethereum (ETH) you’d like to send in the Amount field. Alternatively, you can specify the amount you would like to send in your local currency. Note that the funds will always be sent as digital currency, not your local currency
5. Click Continue
6. Confirm the details of the transaction and complete the send
Step 6(Optional):
To check, go to MyEtherWallet and enter your address details.
There should now be an increase in the balance corresponding to the amount transferred earlier (less network fee).
You now have ETH in your own MyEtherWallet! Please remember to keep your keystore file, private key, and recovery phrase in a secure location and never share them with anybody.
