Community update: New contracts, new contacts, and a new alliance
After the start of the testing last week, Elipay is being tested at 27 different stores or service providers — restaurants, bars, a pool complex, etc., and many more are expected to join in the future. Their list can be viewed at the official Elipay website, www.elipay.com and on the Elipay app. The aim of Elipay is not only to provide a user-friendly payment option for the growing crypto community; it also represents our contribution to creating a blockchain-friendly world of commerce, which goes hand in hand with our vision of Bitcoin City − transforming a major shopping and business center into a highly modern ecosystem. Spreading the word about Eligma to the Slovenian general public and internationally shifted into high gear last week. CEO Dejan Roljic and Eligma advisor Ana Lukner Roljic did some serious searching of new business partners in Silicon Valley, visiting advisors and meeting with highly eminent business figures from that part of the US (do not miss this blog post by Dejan Roljic). Eligma Project Lead Mitja Hegler, however, was invited to present Elipay at DIGGIT, the biggest Slovenian digital communication conference. His presentation was very well received — more about it in this article. The invitation from this conference testifies to the fact that Eligma is becoming quite well-known on the Slovenian digital and crypto scenes.
Last week was also marked by Eligma joining an organization committed to Europe becoming a global blockchain destination and to raising awareness of the importance of this technology for the present and future. This is Blockchain Alliance Europe. Eligma’s membership reflects its firm belief that the divide between the blockchain and ‘mainstream’ worlds is an artificial one, and sees its mission in bringing blockchain advantages into our daily lives.
