Encode x Polkadot Decoded Hackathon: Summary and Prizewinners
About the Event
On the 28th and 29th June, we hosted the Encode x Polkadot Hackathon as part of the Polkadot Decoded summit! This two-day hackathon was a great opportunity to meet fellow hackers, learn about Polkadot, answer challenges, win great prizes and network!
This event was an in-person Polkadot-dedicated hackathon held at the Polkadot Decoded venue in Øksnehallen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hackers had the chance to answer our amazing sponsors’ challenges, participate in technical workshops, chill and network over the course of two days.
Our Copenhagen crew was hard at work to make the magic happen!
Overview of the Hack
The hackathon kicked off with a Hack 101 Workshop & Opening Ceremony followed by team formation on the morning of the 28th June!

The 29th was filled with hacking and working really hard on answering sponsors’ challenges!
It all came down to the Final pitch hour and Prizegiving!

About Polkadot Decoded
Polkadot Decoded is a conference for the Polkadot community, featuring talks and workshops on all things Polkadot. Polkadot Decoded returned for its third edition in 2022, with a fully hybrid experience of online and in-person events. Delegates attended conferences in Berlin, Buenos Aires, Hangzhou and New York, or visited community-led events worldwide. All talks in the official locations were live-streamed, allowing the community to catch them in real-time. In the spirit of decentralization, the community helped curate the Polkadot Decoded main program by voting on submitted presentation proposals. Read more here!
