EQ Staking Guide: Boost Your APR Up To 3.4x!
One of the key features we are rolling out later this month is EQ Staking. As an EQ Holder, you have exclusive access to EQ Staking. With EQ Staking, you can significantly increase your rewards by staking your EQ tokens and depositing liquidity into one or more of three pools — Lending, Insurance, and Stableswap.
- Stableswap pool (Up to 49% APR)
- Insurance pool (Up to 73,5% APR)
- Lending pool (Up to 49% APR)
These bonuses complement base farming APRs from Lending, Stableswap and Insurance which currently stand at 10%, 10%, 15%. With max staking multiplier these pools yield massive 34%, 34% and 51% APR respectively. This unlocks awesome high yield strategies like the ones described here.
The multiplier boost offered by EQ Staking ranges from a minimum of 1.05x to a maximum of 3.4x, providing ample growth opportunities. Equilibrium directly ties the multiplier boost to the lock period of your tokens, with extended lock periods offering higher multipliers, allowing you to tailor your EQ Staking strategy to your desired risk tolerance and time horizon.

Here is a step-by-step guide to stake EQ and enjoy increased rewards:
- Navigate to the Earn section
2. Select Stake in EQ Staking pool
3. Select the EQ amount and lock duration. You’ll see this if there is no liquidity deposited into other pools yet:
Select the desired option and press Stake EQ. Note that you must provide liquidity to Lending, Insurance or Stableswap pools to start earning rewards.

Here, the slider represents a % of the currently deposited portfolio that would get boosted.
Select the desired % by dragging the slider or key in the EQ amount manually. Higher APR positions get boosted first in case there are multiple.
4. Click Stake EQ. This is what you should be presented with: a confirmation containing staked amount and transaction hash. It can be used to trace the operation’s record on the blockchain.
