Everyone could use a weekend away with their bae. But do you have to spend a fortune? If you and your partner packed your suitcases to spend two nights and three days in New York City, you could eat like royals, catch a Broadway show and wear out your sensible shoes trekking between all the museums and shops. But it’ll cost you though—as much as $1,500.

Consider option B: a beautifully cheeseball getaway in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Make out on the Maid of the Mist, eat cotton candy on Clifton Hill and get your weird on at Ripley’s Odditorium. The next day you might even get a little wobbly on a nearby vineyard tour. The best part? You can do it all for less than half of what you’d spend visiting NYC.

So here’s the real question: What would you do with the $900 you didn’t spend in the Big Apple?

The Escape: NYC or Niagara Falls
