I am so grateful that you honoured my request not to speak of your visit until I was ready. The love I feel for you for your patience and grace rivals the lust that set me on fire whilst you were here. Both feelings have kept me by turns light-headed with giddiness and weighed down with longing since you left.
With the benefit of a few weeks of reflection, I am ready now to attempt an unraveling of my tangled thoughts, by way of this letter. It sits beside me on my desk, and I look at it often, reflecting how the hand that held the pen to paper is the same hand under which I suffered and exalted. The hand that make me come alive under its touch.
I sometimes stop to smell the parchment; your perfume is faint, but it never fails to bring to mind your skin: soft, warm, and delicious.
