Ever wonder what you would look like on a Commodore 64? Even know what one is? Well, the team over at 64yourself have put together a rare treat. Just upload a picture of yourself and they will re-render it old school 8 bit style.

After you have Commodored yourself, head over to Television — TV without context for some random entertainment without compelling story lines and drama. Or maybe its the endless randomness that is the story line.

Another option is Moodstream by Getty Images. It is your virtual DJ for ambience music that also streams images which parallel the mood you’ve selected.

The World of Frodo Baggins has now been opened as an interactive map over The Hobbit map project. Its a mish-mash of Google Earth-esque landscaping and interactive media designed give all the LOTR geeks a sure thrill.

If you like Disney Movies, then you are sure to appreciate this acapella smashup.

Xiosheng Li. Does that name sound familiar? Didn’t think so. If you did know him, then you would know that he built a replica of the Nvidia GeForce graphics chip ….. entirely out of Legos.

Last on my list this week is a tool that I think we could all use. It’s called Telepathwords. The concept is that you start typing your password in, the form tries to guess your next letter. Based on how many X’s you get, tells you whether or not you have a strong password. I will have you know that my 15 letter password only had 2 marks.
