This is the only look I could make — Clutching my wallet tightly after that shopping spree🙃

Hey all! In my previous blog post, I talked about how one of my favorite clothing companies, American Apparel is closing — FOR GOOD! Being that I’m not okay with this, I did what any level-headed young individual would do, I went on a crazy shopping spree! Hey, you knew that was coming!😂 Everything is 40% off online and in store! Conveniently, I visited the store located near me at the mall. The trip was originally supposed to be centered around my boyfriend, A.J., since he received some giftcards for Christmas, but once I saw American Apparel, it was a WRAP! — SORRY! I decided to share with you some of the lovely items I bought, so let’s get to it!

Walking into Monday like…
This Bomber Denim Jacket is BOMB.

Love love LOVE this Denim Bomber jacket! A.J. encouraged me to get it. We were actually on our way towards the register when this caught his eye. That’s usually how it works though right? Are you ever really done shopping? NO. At first I was iffy about it, but after trying it on, it looked pretty badA$$. Thus, it came home with me. The denim is thick and sturdy helping it to stand up to these winter temps! I even wore it outside today when it was about 30°! It also features a good quality metal zipper — basically, it’s here for the long haul!👌🏼 Originally priced at $98 with 40% off it came to $58.80!

My mug says “I can’t ADULT today” HAH — more like EVER.

Talk about feeling cozy! You just gotta have your lounge around the house basics 💁🏽 Like this Cotton Spandex Crop Tank and French Terry Running Short! Perfect to mix and match with just about anything! They really come in handy on days when you feel like you just can’t adult! The top is normally priced at $28 and shorts at $35 — with 40% off it comes to $16.80 and $21!

more coffee please!

I decided to be a little daring here and picked up these Shiny Leggings they have a really tight fit, but they’re not constricting! I was happy with this purchase! I also snagged this Cropped Fisherman Pullover in dark sage! Didn’t really think about pairing them together until I was brainstorming this post, but it goes pretty well!

I surprised myself by getting this sweater in the dark sage color. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not one to buy a lot of color. I like to stick to my neutrals — let’s all thank A.J. once again for pushing me to venture out of my comfort zone — LOL! I really have fallen for this pullover, so stay tuned! You’ll probably see me rockin’ this many different ways in the future! The leggings are originally priced at $42 and pullover at $76 — with 40% off that brings it to $25.20 and $45.60!

As you can see, many great pieces just waiting to be added to your closet! A lot of basics that you can pair a million+ ways and some staple pieces to really make you stand out in the crowd! I also purchased two pairs of stockings (not pictured): “Fair Isle Knit Tight” — black with a bunch of different patterns throughout originally $5 and on sale for $3; Sheer Luxe Cutout — sheer tights that have a cut out near your a$$ so they’re essentially thong tights? HAH — originally $5, on sale for $1.50! It’s truly unfortunate that this company isn’t going to be around soon, so what are you waiting for? Forty percent off?! Take advantage while you can! There’s ALWAYS room for another shopping spree.😉 Happy shopping!
