Ah yes, thats me👆🏼, resting quite happily after a wonderful day of shopping! Shopping…after the Holidays?! I know I know, my bank account is cursing me out right now, but stick with me, we’re goin’ places!

They raved about all the awesome items they found and how much money they saved! Yeah, I was sold!

Where to? Why, FIND@Lord&Taylor, thats where! My oh my, where do I start? As you guys should already know, I am always looking for great deals when I shop. This store, kind of similar to Marshalls or T.J.Maxx , offers a ton of name brand apparel/accessories for insanely affordable prices! I heard about this place from my boyfriend’s sister, Taylor, and mother, Nancy, during the holidays when I asked them where they bought their lovely outfits! They raved about all the awesome items they found and how much money they saved! Yeah, I was sold! Conveniently, the store is located only about 20 minutes from me, so that was pretty sweet! I decided to go with my mom because well she’s my bestie and who doesn’t like to shop with their bestie? — Also, like me, she’s always looking to shop and save a bunch! Let me add that above just about every clothing rack/shelf there was also a sign that said “take 50% off” meaning that the price you end up paying is actually half of the already marked down price on the tag. I know, dreams do come true! So, what exactly did I find at FIND@Lord&Taylor? 🤔

I’m a HUGE fan of the basics — Basic tees, sweats(pants/shirt), jeans, etc. I was stoked to find this awesome yellow sweatshirt by Free People. It’s very comfy and came in a variety of colors. I almost went for the dark grey/washed out black color because “black goes with everything”, right?! It’s good to change it up once in a while though! My mom actually encouraged me to go for this color! GO MOM! Retail price? $68; FIND price? $14.99!!

These Free People jeans though! I actually may have found my booty while shopping here. Let me just tell you, if you are lackin’ in the back-end, these jeans will most certainly help you out in that department! They are skinny, but with just the right amount of stretch to hug me everywhere that needs a little love. Peep the knee slits too — a very popular style lately! They may be my new favorite jeans! Retail price? $78; FIND price? $7.48!!

😍😍

Okay, let me get to it because I just love these boots too much! Look at how lovingly I stare, sigh. Anywho, these boots are by Franco Sarto and I fell in love as soon as I put them on…sorta. Let me explain a bit, yes? I have been on the hunt for OTK (over-the-knee) boots for quite some time now. I have such a hard time finding this style because my legs/calves are pretty narrow. Thus, a lot of boots end up slouching down — totally defeating the purpose of an OTK boot! Once I put these on, everything about them was perfect! — The height, flat heel, black, they stayed up, so what’s the issue? They were a tad too small. No big deal, right? I wanted these really bad, so I was determined to make it work one way or another. After searching high and low (literally…the shelves reached damn well near the ceiling), I ended up not finding a bigger size, #sadface. What did I do? I bought the shoes anyway! Like I said, I wanted these bad and for the price? Come on, it just couldn’t be beat! Retail price? $179; FIND price? $17.98?! GET OUT.

This Free People shirt isn’t anything special, but I have a thing for loose-almost crop tops. I’ve also been getting into the mock neck a little more too. If you read my recent post, “Update: What I wore for the Holidays”, you’ll see that the body suit I wore from American Apparel also has the same mock neck. This shirt particularly is very loose fitting, but the sleeves are pretty slim. Being that it falls a little above the waist and below the belly button, I wouldn’t consider it to be a full on “crop top”. It’s another basic piece to add to your closet. Retail price? $58 FIND price? $20.99!

My final purchase is this timeless, light-weight v-neck Free People t-shirt. Yep, Free People EVERYTHING. That’s okay, It is very thin and baggy — perfect for hanging around the house with sweats or just throwing it on with some jeans and sneakers. Another way to dress this shirt up — pair it with a boyfriend-style blue blaser that is a little lighter in color than navy blue, some light blue jeans, and little booties for more of a preppy look! 🤔 Retail price? $68; FIND price? $24.49!

All in all a pretty successful shopping trip if I do say so myself! I’m looking forward to more future finds. Don’t worry if you don’t live in the area, if you check out their website, it conveniently says “More coming soon”! GET EXCITED! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think of my finds!
