Never once Jennifer thought that she will learn a lot from being one of the Product Managers at PAYFAZZ. Let us tell you the unique story about her starting her career here at PAYFAZZ.
First thing first, back when she was still in college, she was curiosos and very interested about the digital economy. Majoring Economic studies, Jennifer used to be involved in projects where her field of focus is to analyze many numbers based on the needs of the research. At Universitas Indonesia, Jennifer used to volunteer to help her lecturer projects. Even after she graduated, Jennifer still managed to help with the projects for a few months. Her curiosity in digital economy led her to think about “what she can do to build things on their own?” or “what we can build to support Indonesia with digital economy?”. After she graduated, Jennifer and her friend sought out for about building a startup. Doing her own research, Jennifer was looking for how she can get funding. Curious enough, she browse about fintech startups in Indonesia who got funding from investors from abroad and she found: PAYFAZZ.
She looked up PAYFAZZ is and looked for the founders. Then she found Hendra Kwik. She wasn’t sure what she intended to do when she decided to contact Hendra (the founder himself) on LinkedIn. After they’re connected, Jennifer, direct messaged him and asked how could PAYFAZZ get the seeding from Y Combinator — which is one of the best seed accelerators in the world. The funny thing is, instead of getting to know the “how”, Jennifer was asked to join PAYFAZZ.

HK: Hi Jennifer, Thanks a lot for this! Yeah, I basically try to immerse myself in the startup world. Trying to do what Elon (Elon Musk) did when he was a youngster back then. Immersing himself into startup world by moving out to the United States and Silicon Valley. Feel free to reach me out. I’ll be happy to share the knowledge.

There you go. Jennifer, said she’s sold to the offer, and who knows what comes after? Long story short, it first started with a phone call about how PAYFAZZ got funding. Being curious about PAYFAZZ, Jennifer thought that it might fulfill her ‘hunger of knowledge’ in digital economy.
Joining PAYFAZZ at December 2017 Jennifer admits that it’s the fruitful journey she has here with her role as a Product Manager. At first it wasn’t easy to build things from scratch, but learning from a very supporting circumstance she has been surprised with new things. She feels very lucky to learn everyday. Now as it turns her second year of working at PAYFAZZ, she believes she can conquer her challenges. After all, we can learn one thing: We might have plans, but God may save the better one for us. We don’t always know where we go, but as long as you’re bold with your heart, eventually you will get there — the place that can give you the answer.
