Now dear, there’s one thing makes this part of the story particularly interesting, Frederick couldn’t even read yet. He had only been going to school at this point for 2 years, and could hardly spell his lengthy name.

What harm could opening a scroll truly do when one can’t even read the words? This is exactly what Frederick was thinking. I normally would agree, but in this case, the outcome would be much more eventful.

Frederick reached the top of the ladder and entered the treehouse, rather clumsily as he truly wasn’t very strong and could hardly lift his chubby self up.. His brother Clyde always reminded him of his weight, telling him it was because he ate too many twinkies, but Frederick was always reassured by his mother that it was because he hadn’t lost all of his baby fat yet. Frederick wasn’t sure which was really true, but he did love twinkies.
