Following up from last year’s review, we continue the tradition of taking a look back at what we’ve accomplished this past year. And again we are amazed of what our team has been able to deliver. We’re also very pleased that we’ve continued working with several of last year’s clients — and adding a few exciting brand new clients as well. Here are some highlights.

A new Future Fest

We continued working with Katapult Future Fest by remaking their whole identity and web. See more here.

Annual reporting for Tine

Keeping our good partnership with Mission we built a massive and beautiful annual report for Tine, Norway’s largest producer, distributor and exporter of dairy products.

Elements of AI

We partnered with Reaktor and the University of Helsinki to design and build a free online course educating absolutely everyone in artificial intelligence. The course is richly illustrated throughout the six chapters, each one ending with exercises, such as quizzes and essays summarizing the key learning points. More than 120 000 people have signed up and are taking the course, making if one of the most popular free AI courses available. Keep an eye out for the next version aimed at programmers next year!

Neighbours

Together with Schibsted owned Eiendomsprofil and Keyteq, we designed the next version of their digital product delivering rich data from neighbourhoods all over Norway to potential home buyers. The service is integrated directly into Norway’s biggest online market place FINN.no. Look for it next time you browse homes for sale on FINN.no. Also, special thanks to FINN.no for letting us use their superb user testing facilities.

Voisey

We designed a fresh brand for Voisey, a new Norwegian music app for singers and rappers. Join producers, beat makers and other songwriters and create brand new hits and cover versions of your favorite songs.

Logomark and colors for Voisey
We made several custom icons used throughout the app.

A new Legevisitt

Our long partnership with Legevisitt continues! We updated their identity and improved the digital product, while they expanded their business to both video consultations and a walk-in clinic in Oslo.

Arkivet

We partnered with an ambitious startup to design and build a new product disrupting the way you buy interior design services. Currently in beta, you can now browse and buy interior design services from Norway’s top designers through an easy to use digital service. Expect to hear much more about this in 2019!

Long live print!

We did the art direction and editorial design for The State of Impact, an annual report disguised as a magazine, focusing on exponential technologies and impact investing in the nordic countries. The project was initiated by Katapult, with excellent copywriting by Tina Aasen and beautiful photography by Thomas Ekström. See more here.

New team member: Helle

Developer extraordinaire Helle joined the team in October and flawlessly built the new akjtoken.com together with Mission. Also, we have a new office dog: Figo. Welcome to them both!

Coming in January: Hurtigruten Svalbard

Our biggest project yet! We teamed once again up with Reaktor, to design and develop Hurtigruten Svalbard’s new e-commerce platform launching in the new year.

Honorable mentions

We finished and launched several other projects as well, and here’s a quick round up of some honorable mentions:

A Shopify powered webshop for Black Cat, a fun recruitment microsite for Reaktor, a book for the revised Copyright Act in Norway, a series of portraits for Reaktor’s blog, a new home for Oslo International School of Philosophy, a revised metricdesign.no, and as a surprise to both ourselves and you (hopefully), we launched our new website!

We still have availability in 2019, so please get in touch if you have any exiting brand and digital product design projects.
