Seth Godin says things like:

“Earning this trust, in an effort to be generous, is time-consuming and dissuades some from going down this path.”

“Sometimes this effort leads marketers to spam, to take shortcuts, to lie… ultimately doomed and deluded effort to be generous.”

Boy, do I feel like I am spamming now!

I’m trying to remember that I have been doing the time-consuming part, so hopefully, I’ll have some grace and capital to spend now as I promote.

If that is not the case, or you are new to this feed, I hope you realize this is not my typical posting posture or habit.
All that said, I am sharing some early reader reflections about my book. The ebook is available for pre-order now, and it will launch in paperback and hardcover on the 26th of August.

When I started writing a book a couple of years ago, I had aspirations that it would be published before the end of 2024.

The reality is that I’m still working on it. I also tend to procrastinate by creating written and video blog content rather than hammering out the pages.

So, I’m leaning into my procrastination tendencies and publishing the chapters of my unfinished book as a podcast.

My theory is that putting pressure on myself to publish the podcast episodes will generate pressure to complete the book.

I hope you’ll join me in this pressure campaign!
