She holds the chieftaincy titles of the Yeye Oba of Ogidi-Ijumu and the Yeye Tasase of Oshogbo. She was also awarded a Doctorate in Fine Arts by Rhodes University, South Africa, one of her three Doctorates from prestigious Universities. Dr Nike was also bestowed the highest Italian civilian honor by the President of Italy, Order of the Star of Italy (Ordine della Stella d’Italia) in 2005.
