HackGT at Georgia Tech University, September 23–25, 2016

The Tanvas team will be covering the nation coast to coast this quarter, sharing our TanvasTouch technology at Hackathons and regional events. You will find us at UC Berkeley’s CalHacks the weekend of November 11–13th and Northwestern’s WildHacks the following weekend, Nov. 18–20th. At both events, we will be loaning out a limited number of our Alpha TanvasTouch Dev Kit for participants to build touch into their projects.

Last month, we were in Atlanta for HackGT. It was a blast (and not just because of the Silent Disco at 3am). HackGT was the first time anyone other than Tanvas engineers had worked on our technology. Everyone learned a lot, and the final projects were very cool. Watch this space for upcoming interviews with select teams from that event.

Prior to that, we attended the MLHPrime Spring Finale at Bell Works (fka Bell Labs) in Holmdel, New Jersey on August 5–7. The space itself was pretty epic and we definitely got our steps in that weekend. We also received a lot of great feedback about our technology including, “It’s groundbreaking and should be the industry standard” and “Interesting, with the potential for cool things” and “The future, hands down.”

We’ve also spent time showcasing our technology at regional events including Work in Motion’s Timmy Awards, RocketSpace in San Francisco and Techweek NYC. In the lead-up to our CES 2017 debut, these events are an excellent opportunity for our team to connect, learn and hopefully, continue to inspire. We hope to see you at an upcoming event!
