Are you looking for a welcoming community in which to share your short fiction stories? Fiction Shorts is the publication for you! We are an inclusive community of writers excited to share our stories.

We currently have a waiting list for writers. If you’d like to join comment here and you’ll be added to the waiting list.

This publication grew out of a burgeoning love for writing short fiction in response to some of the prompts found on the Challenged, but has morphed into the Drabble Capital of the World.

At this time, we’re only publishing Drabbles written in response to the daily challenge.

Guidelines are simple

1. Have you been an active writer on Medium for at least six months? If yes, continue…
2. Follow our publication and editors.
3. You must allow private messaging and understand how it works. (Please don’t delete a note, even after you’ve replied. The editors will do that.)
4. Familiarize yourself with the Drabble Guidelines specific guidelines.
5. Read and follow the Fiction Shorts Style Guide.
6. Be a decent human being.
