Testing IFTTT, Medium, and Twitter

Thanks to the tip from Code Kings, I made up a recipe to connect Medium to Twitter. I’m testing it with this very story.

I realize that Medium has Twitter integration built in now, but I’d rather centralize all my web account triggers. Call it a compulsion from years of OOP.

If you’ve tried it already, you’ll notice that the Medium triggers IFTTT can respond to do not include publishing a story. Tragic! However, the Code Kings link above reminds us that a.) our Medium accounts automatically generate RSS feeds, and b.) IFTTT can consume RSS feeds as triggers.
