3 — The day where I discovered the term “polymath”
In quest of figuring out what I want to do in life, I’ve decided to learn and explore seven skills everyday.
This post is part of my Re Human project, in which I copied from Valentin.
[EDIT: I worked on this article on the 14th around 10PM however I had a long chat with my grandparents so time flew and now it’s 15th. I am baffled, as always, but it was a nice chat.]
Note: This is my third time attempting to do this challenge consistently. Since I’ve pledged to do BEDA (blog everyday of April), somehow doing the Re Human project hasn’t felt so much as a slog as it use to be. If anything, the one thing I’ve learnt is there’s no need to fret over how long it’ll take, it matters only if you do reach the destination, yeah?
So, going through the motions
Coding: No coding today since I’m currently working on a whitepaper about Blockchain technology. Currently amazed at how people have already built a decentralised voting system on github … two years ago.
Running: I have a swollen ankle so I continue to view mountain porn on Youtube.
On another note, watching the bitter rivalries, exhilarating triumphs and breathtaking vocal talent in Broadway musicals always captivate a sense of defiance, intense passion and a strong belief that truly anything is possible. Quite nice to be in the fever dream state of being in love with spontaneity and genuinely believing that beauty exists in ambiguity. (I watched Pitch Perfect)
Chess: I changed the UI of my chess platform and I’m so happy haha. I haven’t played with an actual human being since four days ago. The bots are much more fun to play with.
