Finimize is on fire

I’ve been the Community Manager at Finimize from the beginning. So much has happened since then. I remember hosting the first Finimize Insider event at Rise London in Shoreditch. Thirty people came and I remember thinking, I can’t wait to see this community grow. And it has.

With the help of our engaged and driven community, we’ve grown to 250,000 active Finimizers that are spread all over the world.

The big news

I recently left the London Finimize office in July to explore Europe for a few months, and have moved to the city of Los Angeles to bring Finimize to the U.S. And we’re coming in hot. I’m excited to dig deep and involve more community members along the way.

Woah, so what’s the goal?

Finimize’s overall mission is to empower our generation to become their own financial advisors, and we’re doing so by providing you the information and tools to take control and feel confident in your finances.

Here in L.A., we’re hitting the ground running. We want to broadcast this message loud and clear: you are in charge of your finances and we’re here to help.

Alongside empowerment, we want to touch on wellbeing. Life is all about balance in every aspect, and this includes wellbeing. These days there’s emphasis on physical, mental, and emotional wellness, but what about your finances? Doesn’t a good financial health score give you peace of mind and contribute to your overall sense of wellbeing? This is something we’re also addressing.

Next steps

We’re building up an exciting pipeline of events and experiences, which will be both informative and tons of fun! All aligning with our themes of empowerment & wellbeing.

That being said, the growing number of Finimize community-hosted events has been incredible. We’ve seen creative ideas turn into real events in several cities across the globe.

In line with our “From Zero to Invested” event in London next Tuesday, we’re hosting the first Brainstorming & Beers in Los Angeles — stay tuned. We recently sent out a survey (please tell us your thoughts too!) in the newsletter to those in the US and asked what your biggest financial challenges are. The resounding answer? Not feeling confident in investing. So let’s talk about it. Invite and details coming soon!
