A new hero has arrived…

It’s a new year—and a new chapter for Forest Knight.

We’re kicking off 2020 by releasing a game update, which will go live on Wednesday, January 22!

Let’s dive right in and see what new things are in store for Chronville.

An Orc has arrived!

Forest Knight is all about building your Team of Heroes and strategizing for fights against your enemies.

In our last blog post, we mentioned that two new heroes will be joining the Knights of Chronville in Q1 2020, and I am proud to introduce you to the new class: The Raider.

I wonder if he can use a Multiverse item too…

The Raider is a bruiser class with a good HP and defence attributes, along with decent attack power to fight back.

He is a fearsome warrior who can challenge enemies and force them to only attack him, thereby protecting his allies.

The Raider is joining the Paladin in the Tank class, which will allow players to choose a frontline suited to their team composition.

Do you need someone to tank heavy attacks? Go with the Paladin.

Do need someone who protects their allies while dealing some damage? Then the Raider is the Knight you’re looking for.

Accessories are here!

The weapon is the heart of any knight—a knight without a weapon is like “Forest” without the “Knight.”

But this doesn’t mean that knights can’t accessorize to look good while dealing even some more damage.

This update introduces two new equipment types for your heroes: Rings and Necklaces.

Winter Pendant? This reminds me of something…

These Blockchain and Nonblockchain accessories can be equipped to any hero, allowing players to strategize with their equipment and make better use of the spare ones, too.

By touching the Equipment slot, you are also able to sort your inventory to easily find the right equipment type.

MFT holders, of course, can test out their recently claimed Santa Ring on any hero right away.

Who will be the wearer? Maybe the Santa Paladin?

Infernal Ring? that sounds familiar

Arena Ranking & Chests

The Arena is one of the core aspects of Forest Knight.

With it, we aim to offer a competitive environment for all players to test their skills against one another and get rewarded for it.

That’s why we’re introducing the Arena Ranks and Arena Chests with this update! Players can climb the rank ladder by defeating other players and earning trophies.

Here is the rank ladder:

  • Bronze : 0–299 trophies
  • Silver: 300–599 trophies
  • Gold: 600–999 trophies
  • Lord: 1,000–1499 trophies
  • Master: 1,500–1999 trophies
  • Grand Master: 2,000+ trophies

After winning a match, players will also receive a random Chest, which they can open after a specific time. They will then receive resources and items—and with a bit of luck, even some blockchain loot!

We look forward to getting your feedback on this new reward system.

This is the first iteration of this system, and we would love to know what you think about it. With your help and feedback, we will improve the system and kick off the first Forest Knight Rank Season soon!

Thank you so much for your support and patience throughout our development journey.

Be sure to let us know what you think about the update on social using the hashtag #ForestKnightPatch.

See you in the Kingdom.
