September was one of the most eventful months for us here at Forest Knight! We announced NFT merging but also refactoring. Years of collective work have gone into making this a possibility. Let’s dive into Forest Knight’s September recap.
150,000 Players!
On September 19th, 2022, Forest Knight officially charted 150,000 players! We’re so happy to have so many knights joining our game and helping Bris in the fight against the Skeleton Master. To celebrate, we hosted a small giveaway. So many new knights joining in on the fun and supporting Forest Knight. Again, thank you so much. It means the world to us.
NFT Merge Announcement
NFT Merging will be one of the core features of our game. Enabling our players to combine their hard-earned NFTs and create something unique has been our vision for a long time. So how does NFT merging work?
You need three NFTs of similar rarities or higher (the base and two for the burning process) and $KNIGHT tokens. That’s it! The process is as straightforward as it gets. Selecting the initial NFT means you want to upgrade that NFT, while the two burned ones also have implications in the crafting process. The upgraded NFT has a chance to inherit one of the passives from the burned NFTs.

Major Game Update
In version 0.5.7.3.15, we finally launched a major update for the game. Refactoring was months and months of hard work. Trusting the process is necessary, and we’d like to thank our players, moderators, developers, and other team members for being so patient with us and providing all the constructive feedback to make this happen.
Refactoring stripped the game and built it back up from the ground. New visual effects, better animations, fewer bugs, and many more opportunities are now possible thanks to refactoring. Of course, we also introduced the new hero.
Chronville, meet Livia
Livia is the trident-wielding siren joining us from the depths of Gamrey Deep. She is the newest addition to the Chronville roster, and we’re excited to see what new compositions she fits in.

Forest Knight and Galaxy Fight Club

Devs vs. Players is a great monthly event where you can learn more about the game and what’s happening in the near future. We take all of your suggestions, recommendations, and feedback into consideration. The Q&A is one place where we gather all the comments on our Discord “Suggestion” channel and go through them one at a time.
NFT Marketplace — 20,000 $KNIGHT Krakanyr
We’re happy to share that one of our most legendary NFTs recently sold for a whopping 20,000 $KNIGHT on the native Forest Knight NFT marketplace. The purchase is roughly 620 USD, one of the largest sales this year.
Thank you to everyone who continues to use the native marketplace! It benefits the community directly, seeing as the fee structure sends a portion of the purchases back to the game and DAO treasury.
Chad Raider Listing Competition
As part of the NFT marketplace launch, we held a competition for three exclusive Raider skins as part of the Chad collection.

Forest Knight — A Greener Future
The Ethereum merge is an important event for everyone in the blockchain industry, lowering its carbon footprint by 99.97%!!! We’re proponents of the Ethereum merge. Forest Knight believes in a clean blockchain future, and as proof, we have decided to only support assets in the new Proof of Stake chain.

Chainlink Integration
As part of our NFT merging feature, we have delivered a completely transparent and random process. To make this possible, we have partnered with Chainlink, using their Verifiable Random Function (VRF) blockchain feature to make all this possible.
Not only that, but we are also utilizing their Keeper’s network to automate our marketplace fee upkeep. Since part of the fees move back to the game, while another goes to the DAO treasury, this process should be completely transparent. What better way than to use the power of immutable blockchains?
