Eliel Felipe, a 22-year-old Brazilian artist embarked on his artistic journey as a child when he unknowingly created neo-expressionism paintings and discovered his passion for art in the process. FormosArt’ artist Eliel Felipe

Currently his work focuses on digital collage where he describes them as “polysemic metamorphosis, a mixture between elements and dimensions that at the same time change and link together”, which he creates using photoshop on his computer. He is an independent artist, who creates for the pleasure of art and does not earn money from his work that is inspired by neo-expressionism artists, dadaism, surrealism, minimalism, and music. Additionally, his unique art creation process can be described as “entering a subconscious space of mind”, where he dives into unexpected meaningful inspirations, and his art flows and creates something beautiful.

Being a talented and inspirational artist for many, his biggest dream is to ensure Brazil invests in art and culture, and, to earn a living from his work. One of the many strong reasons for collectors to take his art home is that his work comes to a new life when someone recognizes the beauty that touches their heart.

We want FormosArt collectors to get to know Eli better, so we asked Eli 10 revealing questions about his art, career and inspirations. Make sure to check out his collection now available on FormosArt Gallery!
