Welcome to Foundations, a blog by Andy Powell. It will mainly cover my personal thoughts on public cloud — by which I mean AWS and Azure — and, in particular, how and why those services should be adopted by organisations in the public and third sectors. I am Chief Technical Officer at Eduserv, a not-for-profit managed services provider based in Bristol that works predominantly with public- and third- sector organisations in the UK and that aims to help them unlock the value in their data and applications for public benefit.
