Founder Gym and Shopify Collaborate to Help Black Entrepreneurs Succeed
Founder Gym is the leading online program training underrepresented founders on how to build successful businesses. Its global community of 600 entrepreneurs spans 23 countries and 6 continents. 70% of Founder Gym’s community identifies as Black and 35% identify as Black women.

There is a massive wealth gap in America.
Entrepreneurship is an important solution to closing the wealth gap, and Black businesses are on the rise.
Founder Gym and Shopify are joining forces to help the Black community.
Founder Gym and Shopify are collaborating to ensure more Black entrepreneurs have both the blueprint and support structure to build successful businesses and create generational wealth. To kick things off, Shopify has teamed up with Founder Gym to host Build Black: The Future is Now. Taking place on September 30, 2020, this virtual event is free to attend and features leading Black entrepreneurs, who will provide a candid look into their experiences launching and scaling businesses that keep customers coming back.
At the Build Black event, three Black entrepreneurs in attendance will be awarded a full scholarship to Founder Gym’s brand new Money Magnet Program, a transformative experience that improves entrepreneurs’ financial literacy, and trains them on how to use business as a tool to generate wealth. At the virtual event, Founder Gym and Shopify will also reveal other exciting announcements and new offerings focused on accelerating the success of Black entrepreneurs around the world.
