It can be proudly announced that the FreeDAO Foundation is now capable of deploying and launching the very first phase of the Freeos Economic System — the AirClaim.
We know that many of the community has been patiently waiting for this final achievement ever since the completion of the Open Beta Test, back in August of 2021.
Now the Foundation is ready, the deployment and launch preparations can begin — as follows:
- Check in with the Proton team’s status for launching worldwide KYC: Status = underway
- Send launch-related resolutions and agreements to the Foundation’s Council for voting and ratification: Status = underway
- Updates on the main Freeos website to support the launch: Status = underway
- Technical deployment and setup of the Freeos smart contracts and parameters: Status = requires the Foundation Council’s vote
- Technical deployment of the AirClaim dApp’s frontend interface: Status = requires the smart contract deployment
- Setup of a human-readable URL for the Dfinity IC hosted frontend for the AirClaim dApp: Status = requires the frontend deployment
- Distribution of the AirKeys to all Open Beta participants as promised in September 2021 Status = requires the smart contract deployment
- Final staking requirement parameters Status = underway
The Freeos/FreeDAO teams have been working around the clock to get all of these tasks done and we’re keen to have the AirClaim launched as soon as humanly possible.
As such, we are expecting to announce a firm launch date as soon as we have the critical items #2 and #4 complete. We’ll be updating the status every Friday (New Zealand Time), so stay tuned to our channels weekly for updates.

- Download the WebAuth wallet and set up a Proton account (if you didn’t have one already.
