Art, meet phone

Not so long ago we opened up the Depict web beta to the public, and today we’re launching our app for Apple’s iOS. You can download it here for iPhone or iPad, and watch our video below to learn more about why so many people are becoming excited by digital art:

This launch is important for us, because it lets any collector take the art they love with them wherever they go. You can browse your Depict collection on the train or in a cafe, show your favorite pieces to your friends on the go, and cast your art onto any big screen that uses Chromecast or Apple TV, direct from your iPhone or iPad.

A few resourceful people found the app before we published this post, and made us feel great by leaving kind and very positive reviews. In the last couple of months, we’ve had more and more conversations with artists, technophiles and creative people who see immense value in what we’re doing — using technology as a medium to bring creative work into people’s lives, and at the same time humanizing the devices and screens that we interact with on a daily basis.

If you’re reading this on your iPhone or iPad, please head to the app store, test out the app and let us know what you think. This is one small step for mobile — and we’re constantly building more features — but we hope you’re excited when you try it out, and that you find art you love.
