The challenges we are facing as a species requires collective thinking to solve. No human, nation or organization can address issues like climate change, immigration, and AI by themselves (I’ve tried to express this many times in the past, and ended up stealing this line from Yuval Noah Harari). To me creating collective solutions to our future starts with a new kind of media network. Traditional media like newspapers have become a niche, and social media does not empower our minds; it’s merely build to empower advertisers. This is why we launched Duckling, and why I started this publication on Medium. While Duckling is the best solution for sharing visual insights when you are mobile, Medium is an excellent solution for sharing text-based ideas for when you have a bit of time to read.
