Last week we delivered project rewards, a bit of a game-changer if we don’t say so ourselves. This week, we’ve delivered an arguably even bigger feature. A completely reimagined checkout experience.

Unfortunately, you won’t see any of these changes until our next raise, but rest assured it’s all deployed, tested and good to go!

New Checkout

Let’s face it, our previous checkout experience did the job, but for the non-crypto native, it wasn’t the experience to navigate in the world. We are firm believers that the best crypto products, don’t feel like crypto products at all, they mimic interactions that we are all familiar with. We’ve made a slew of changes to our checkout experience this week, let’s take a look

Dedicated Checkout Page

We now have a page that is dedicated to summarising your checkout experience. You will come from the usual investment modal, but you’ll now clearly see exactly what you are investing, in and what you’ll get. This page also allows us to make some iterative improvements, such as new payment methods (watch this space next week 👀)

Dedicated Investment Confirmed

Once you check out, you’ll also see the investment completed page. This makes it crystal clear to users exactly what they’ve invested. We might also have some fancy animations of our Lithium star cruiser, but we’ll let you discover that one…

Service Fees

We recently introduced the concept of service fees. This allows new users to invest in Lithium project in a frictionless way while providing holding of the $IONs token with a tonne of rewards.

We’ve incorporated these fees into our checkout experience, it will be crystal clear to all users what their fees are, and why they are paying them.

Change to raise logic

I’ll do a whole post on this, as it's quite a big change for investors who know our platform. We’ve slightly changed the user interface by which you see a project's progress by introducing a raise target. This target is the number of funds a project is targeting to raise, but its not the same as the raise limit that Lithium has been assigned. Overallocation logic will only be introduced in case of the raise limit being reached. We’ve done a lot of work to make this crystal clear in our UI.

It continues to stagger me how efficient our Product Team is coming. It seems every week we are releasing game-changing features. If we continue this rate through the downmarket our product will be completely unparalleled to anything else in the space.

Stick around for next week, where we’ll be providing a couple more value add features to our checkout experience!

WAGMI,

Tom, Team Lithium x
