Dear friends, we made it! 🙏
Time to announce the winners of our first Future Quest Grant Pool!
We want to sincerely thank each and every one of the 328 applicants for your submissions. The quality of the projects we received was truly impressive, and it was a difficult task for our 15-person team (Council included) to choose the winners.
We coordinated all lists, taking into account main target categories, requests from bigger partners and making sure we can support DEI founders and community led projects. Ultimately the votes from the Council help us create the final rating.
Our dream was to be able to elect winners and start distributing funds before Christmas and we are able to make it happen!

Winners! 🏆
We are pleased to announce that the selected projects are some of the best and most aligned with our mission of fighting climate change. The winners will be receiving emails today with further details about their funding and Quest onboarding. We have 17 winning Quest proposals right now, all of which will also be shared on our Twitter very soon and as Quests within our app and website.
Projects that raised over $1M already 💰
We also want to extend our congratulations to those projects that previously raised over $1M. In discussion with our partners a limitation has been put in place where projects which raised over $1M will not receive funding in this rapid grant pool, however we will love to support them in the new year. Founders be receiving separate emails with additional opportunities.
Runner-ups 🥈
For those projects that were in the top 100, we are still raising funds and you may be eligible for more funding in Q1. We’ll work our way down the list in order of rating.

For those of you who were not selected for funding this round, we invite you to try again in our next round (more on this in Q1!). We appreciate your dedication to making a difference in the fight against climate change and wish you all the best.

We embarked on this project with quite a short time frame of just 2 months since the idea was born and received over 3x the applications we expected. We wanted to make sure to assess every incredible project well, which meant many late nights. We are so grateful to our judges, key partners and team who all truly showed up, working with us to make this Gran Pool as rapid as we hoped. We love you!

Not all of our partners partners could move at such a fast pace, which is fine — it has not been the easiest quarter for those in web3 . However because of this not all funds are ready for deployment yet. All-in-all we have $550,000 ready now for the 17 initial projects and more will become available in January. Key lesson: raising grant money takes time! We’ll continue our work on this into the new year and post updates as we progress, we hope to be able to support many more projects in the new year.
