A Galactic Exploration Of Our New Brand
In 2021, a Web3 star was born.
Two years ago, Project Galaxy was merely an idea — a dream conceptualized by two friends from California. To make this dream a reality, co-founders Charles Wayn and Harry Zhang brought together a team of serial entrepreneurs who believed in the power of Web3. With the vision of a decentralized infrastructure in mind, Charles and Harry focused on empowering Web3 builders, developers, and users with Internet-changing credential data. And from that spark grew a galaxy where the possibilities of on and off-chain credentials became limitless.
Keeping this dream in mind, it’s with great pride and anticipation that our team introduces our brand new name…Galxe!
The purpose of this re-brand is to better express where we are and where we are planning to go. We’re still the same, passionate team but we’ve evolved! This update better encapsulates what we can offer to our loyal community of Astronauts. This shift highlights our dedication to expanding this wonderfully mysterious Web3 World one step at a time. In a nutshell, we’re the same old “us”, we’re just going places! Along with a name shift, we’ve matured our logo from three straight lines to flying comets! Comets represent our mission to innovate and are a strong symbol of movement, evolution, and growth. We aren’t static and never plan to be.

Over the past year, Galxe has achieved countless milestones ranging from 10+ chain integrations, launching our own Token, and being awarded The Binance Launchpool Project of the Year Award in July 2022. These milestones continued to inspire a hunger for exploration in our users and partners alike, fueling the next generation of Web3 Astronauts. It was with continual support from our community, that Galxe was able to become the forerunner of Learn-To-Earn and Participate-To-Earn Campaigns. Protocols leveraged Web3 credentials from Galxe’s credential data network to power marketplace growth, issue Soul Bound Tokens, increase community engagement, boost DEX growth, and generate brand awareness as a result.
Today, Galxe is proud to announce that we have 4.2 million+ Galxe ID Users. Galxe ID is a product we developed that aims to be the identity suite in Web3. This ID represents users across multiple chains and off-chain social platforms. Galxe ID is becoming one of the most important tools for recording users on and off-chain footprints in the Web3 world.
Some of our biggest accomplishments include:
- Partnering with 760 Protocols/Communities as well as running over 5,000 Credential Based Campaigns. These gamified, task-based campaigns are a key way that we help partners grow thriving, engaged communities day in and day out. By utilizing tools such as our Galaxy OAT (On-Chain Achievement Token), our partners are able to reward their users for their time, energy, and effort in the space.
- Launching our native $GAL Token on May 5th, 2022 which became available for trading across many of the top global cryptocurrency exchanges. Those exchanges include: Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin, Bit.com, Huobi, WOO Network, BitMart, Bitget, Gate.io, Bybit, Zapper, CCTIP, and Crypto.com!
- Hosting major campaigns with leading blockchains in the space, each hosting 20–30 protocols within one ecosystem campaign. These campaigns included the Abritrum Odyssey Campaign, How to Web3 with BNB and Coin Market Cap Earn, Solana Sol Cool Campaign, and Coin Gecko: DeFi 101! Thousands of users participated in these campaigns, resulting in ecosystem growth and exponential community engagement for all partners involved.
As you can see, we aren’t a “project” anymore but a fully developed ecosystem with a thriving community and partners all across the space. From Defi, to Gamefi, to NFT Projects, to Infrastructures, we’ve truly “taken off” and plan to continue to reach new heights with each new turn around the sun.
In the coming year, Galxe is looking forward to continuing a close connection with our partners and users and we can’t wait to reveal to the community the exciting things we have in store.
But know this…whatever we do, it’s going to be big!
