2021 NFL Mock Draft. Full coverage and analysis of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence, Trey Lance, & Justin Fields top QB’s.
Things got interesting after week one of the 2020 NFL Season. Who gets Trevor Lawrence?

A 2021 NFL Mock Draft, week one edition of the 2020 NFL season. This 2021 NFL Mock Draft Order is based on the results of Week one of the 2020 NFL Season. Week one of the NFL Season bought a lot of surprise wins and performances. With that in mind let's take a look at some of the team needs and Draft Order for this 2021 NFL Mock Draft 2.0.

Before we begin make sure to check out more 2021 NFL Draft Coverage below:

1. Cleveland Browns: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon

The Browns may be tempted into taking Lawerence if they end up having the Number 1 pick because that would mean Mayfield had yet another off-year. I was never high on Mayfield, to begin with, and I had him graded as a 5th Round pick in 2018.

If I were the Browns I’d take Lawrence, no question. This is the Browns we’re talking about so look for them to try and continue to build around their very ordinary young Quarterback. Look for them to take the top Offensive Tackle Prospect to come out of a Draft in a while.

2. Cincinnati Bengals: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

The Bengals will be in the market for a new Head Coach after this season. It’s clear Zac Taylor isn’t Head Coach material. With Trevor Lawrence on the Board do the Bengals dare to take him here? No. They have too much invested in Joe Burrow and Micah Parsons is going to be a stud.

3. Indianapolis Colts: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

I’d expect a team to trade up to Number 1 Overall and take Lawrence but this 2021 NFL Mock Draft isn’t doing any trade predictions. Instead, Lawrence falls to the Colts here and he could even sit and learn behind Philip Rivers if the Colts decide to bring Rivers back.

4. Dallas Cowboys: Xavier Thomas, DE, Clemson

Thomas will emerge into a top NFL Prospect as we inch closer to the Draft. He has all the measurable’s and skill. He’s an instant upgrade and edition to the Dallas Defense.

5. Minnesota Vikings: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

If Minnesota is picking this high come Draft time, the Kirk Cousins era is over. There are too many top Quarterback options for Cousins to survive being replaced this early in the Draft. One of them is Trey Lance who could be picked before Justin Fields.

6. Atlanta Falcons: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia

Atlanta may be tempted to replace Matt Ryan but if they’re picking this high, then that means a new coach, and I doubt a New head Coach would bet his future on Justin Fields over Matt Ryan (who's still relatively young for a QB). Instead, the Falcons will look to improve their secondary by adding the best Corner in the Draft.

7. Detroit Lions: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

Matt Patricia and Matt Stafford will be gone. They’re both under-achievers and I’ve been saying for the past two seasons, that it’s time for the Lions to move on from Matt Stafford. Fields is the pick here and he gives the Lions the ability at the Quarterback position to be able to carry a team, something the OVERRATED MATTHEW STAFFORD has never been able to do.

8. Miami Dolphins (Via Texans): Justyn Ross, WR, Clemson

Ross is the best Receiver in this Draft and he would be a nice big 6'4 target to pair with Tua.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Walker Little, OT, Stanford

Offensive Line is one of the glaring weaknesses of this Tampa team so they’ll look to address that early in the Draft. Walker Little is a great pass Blocker with quick feet and would’ve been a First Rounder in the 2020 Draft.

10. Carolina Panthers: Hamilcar Rashed Jr., DE, Oregon State

It’d be interesting to see if the Panthers would be tempted to take Quarterback Kyle Trask here. I think they’ll pass. With Hamilcar still on the Board, the Panthers take the stud Pass-Rusher to help out their D-Line.

11. Philadelphia Eagles: Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU

Carson Wentz is one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the NFL. There’s no doubting that. He’s living off of his very impressive Sophomore Season in 2017 when he was an MVP Candidate. Since then, he’s been injury-prone, chokes under pressure, and has yet to deliver a single playoff win coming into Year 5.

Still, to be fair, the man hasn’t had the best Receiving core. Maybe a true Number one Receiver will reignite the Carson Wentz of old. Ja’Marr Chase has a great catch radius and can get open quickly down the field. That’s perfect for a strong-armed Quarterback like Wentz.

12. New York Jets: Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina

The Jets Secondary is horrid and that’s putting it nicely. Mukuamu is a tall athletic shutdown Corner that gets physical and is a good tackler in the run game.

13. Miami Dolphins: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota

The Dolphins are going to have to be able to block for Tua when he is ready to take over the Starting Quarterback Position. Faalele is a huge powerful Tackle that should be getting more love from the scouting community. He’s 6'8, with great technique, and quick on his feet.

14. San Francisco 49ers: Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson

The Niners overall, have a great team. Not too many holes on the roster. They could use some more young talent at Corner though, and Kendrick, who use to be a Wide Receiver, has the best hands of any Corner.

15. New York Giants: Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami (FL)

The Giants' everlasting issue is the Offensive Line. It’s been a while since they’ve had a great Line. However, it’s headed in the right direction so they’ll look to add a stud Pass Rusher here instead. Rousseau will have to prove that his breakout 2019 Season wasn’t a fluke.

16. Tennessee Titans: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

With Derek Henry leading the way, the Titans are a run-first Offense. They have some nice pieces at the Receiver Position, but none that have established themselves as a true Number 1 option. Bateman has the upside, catch radius, hands, and great route running to come in from day one and establish himself as the best receiver on the Titans.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati

The Steelers have a great young, up-and-coming defense that is going to be good for a long time. They also have their longtime veteran future Hall of Fame Quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger back in the mix after he missed the 2019 season. Roethlisberger looks like he can play for a couple of more years but the Steelers must start preparing for the future.

Ridder is a 2021 NFL Draft sleeper and he’s still raw but his game is reminiscent of Lamar Jackson. If he declares for the 2021 NFL Draft he could be the one high-profile Quarterback to fall into a good team situation like the Steelers in the middle or end of the First Round.

18. Denver Broncos: Marvin Wilson, DT, FSU

Wilson eats up runners and can eat up double teams to open up Pass Rushing lanes for Edge Rushers. He’d fit nicely next to Von Miller.

19. Green Bay Packers: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

When your Quarterback is Aaron Rodgers, you usually won’t have any problems putting up points. The problem is the Secondary. Andre Cisco is a fast great coverage Safety that can deliver big plays and hits. He’s an all-around do-it-all Safety.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars: Pooka Williams, RB, Kansas

After a surprise win in week 1, many aren’t counting out the Jaguars this Season. My presumption of them tanking for Trevor Lawrence isn’t changing. However, technically, they are not in a position to Draft him in this version of the 2021 NFL Mock Draft. Instead, they’ll take a shiny new running back like Williams who fits their offense better than Fournette did because of his ability to catch and break off for huge gains.

21. Washington Football Team: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

As long as Ron Rivera is the Head Coach, Washington will always be competitive. Their defensive pass rush is the best in the league, and they have a developing Young Quarterback. They could use a feature Back like Etienne to control the clock, which helps the defense and takes some pressure off of the Passing game and Haskins.

22. New Orleans Saints: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

If there is one thing that is evident about the Saints Offense, it’s that they could use a pass-catching Tight End. Pitts is a solid route runner and is a good check-down option underneath when things break down.

23. Baltimore Ravens: Richard LeCounte III, S, Georgia

The Ravens haven’t had a hard-hitting Safety since Ed Reed left. LeCounte isn’t Ed Reed, but he is the best Safety on Board and has Pro-Bowl potential.

24. Las Vegas Raiders: Dylan Moses, OLB, Alabama

Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have done a great job in rebuilding this roster. I’m particularly impressed with the strides made on defense. The Raiders could still use another Linebacker though and Dylan Moses is one of the best run-stopping Linebackers in this Draft.

25. Chicago Bears: Devonta Smith, WR, Alabama

Aside from Allen Robinson, the Bears don’t have much at Receiver. Devonta Smith is a speedy receiver who could do wonders on the outside as a number 2 or in the Slot.

26. Arizona Cardinals: Jaylen Twyman, DT, Pittsburgh

I don’t expect the Cardinals to be picking this low on the actual day of the Draft. While they’re here now though, why not take a nasty passing rushing D-Lineman?

27. Los Angles Chargers: Tommy Kraemer, OG, Notre Dame

The Chargers could surprise some people this year. They have a great Head coach and an underrated Starting Quarterback in Tyrod Taylor. Their run blocking could improve on the interior, and Tommy Kraemer is just the guy to do it. Kraemer is a dominant pass blocker as well and is an underrated Prospect.

28. Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Jones, DE, Pittsburgh

Not too many holes on this Chiefs team. They could add another pass rusher here or a Corner. Jones is arguably the best player available here and is a great value this late in the first round.

29. New York Jets (Via Seahawks): Marlon Tuipulotu, DT, USC

The Jets have had trouble stopping the run the past couple of seasons so look for them to add a D-Lineman early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

30. New England Patriots: Carlos Basham Jr., DT, Wake Forest

The Patriots are one of the few teams in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft that I believe can and will be picking this low because of the resurgence and combination of Cam Newton and Bill Belichick. Tom Brady who? This team is ready to role on Offense and can take a talented D-Lineman here.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (Via Rams): Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State

Todd McShay and Mel Kiper seem to like Wade a heck of a lot more than most scouts do. They have him projected as a top 5 or 10 pick. That’s very optimistic for an at best fringe first-round prospect. Wade has a lot of flaws with consistency, but his upside is worth gambling here for a team like the Jags that need Corners.

32. Buffalo Bills: Quincy Roche, DE, Miami (FL)

The Bills may not lose a game for a while. They’re being slept on. They have a Franchise Quarterback and a pretty well-rounded roster. Look for them to Draft a Pass-Rusher that can improve their defense in getting to the Quarterback.

Round 2:

33. Cincinnati Bengals: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

34. Indianapolis Colts: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

35. Dallas Cowboys: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford

36. Jacksonville Jaguars (Via Vikings): Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama

37. Atlanta Falcons: Sage Surrat, WR, Wake Forrest

38. Detroit Lions: Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State

39. Miami Dolphins (Via Texans): Jeremiah Owusu-Korahmoah, OLB/DE, Notre Dame

40. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Patrick Surtain Jr., CB, Alabama

41. Carolina Panthers: Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

42. Philadelphia Eagles: Creed Humphrey, OC/OG, Oklahoma

43. New York Jets: Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama

44. Miami Dolphins: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon

45. San Francisco 49ers: Chatarius “Tutu” Atwell, WR, Louisville

46. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan

47. Tennessee Titans: Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU

48. New York Giants: Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson

49. Denver Broncos: Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama

50. Cleveland Browns: Damone Clark, ILB, LSU

51. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia

52. Washington Football Team: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn

53. New Orleans Saints: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

54. New England Patriots: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami (FL)

55. Las Vegas Raiders: Thayer Munford, OT, Ohio State

56. Green Bay Packers: Chazz Surratt, OLB, UNC

57. Arizona Cardinals: Cameron Goode, DE, California

58. Los Angeles Chargers: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

59. Kansas City Chiefs: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech

60. Chicago Bears: Caden Stern, S, Texas

61. New England Patriots: Jordan Smith, DE, University of Alabama Birmingham

62. Seattle Seahawks: Marco Wilson, CB, Florida

63. Los Angles Rams: Cade Mays, OG, Tennessee

64. Buffalo Bills: Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU
