November Monthly Report
The November research and development focus of the Genaro Network team is on improving the performance of distributed storage. Based on it, design distributed network disks and function experiments for distributed collaborative files. Corresponding maintenance and data structure upgrades were carried out in the public chain and mining pool.
Public chain layer:
* Regular maintenance of the public chain
* Verified functional completeness via testing under existing mainstream cross-chain frameworks
* Reasonably optimized logs
* The framework of heterogeneous cross-chain based on the test chain is completed and the testing process is started
* Introduced the design plan for the supervisory layer, refined the process, and started coding
Mining pool part:
* Modified the block browser to get the transaction list bug
* Researched on data structure upgrade, ensure that the new structure compatible with the historical structure
* Modified the separation of the revenue account and the betting account to ensure the safety of the bet funds
* Modification of the mining pool administrator review and increase margin pages has been completed and successfully passed the test
* The modification of the margin page has been completed and passed the test
Storage layer:
* Refactored development based on rust bridge
* Measured the bridge’s ability to accept user messages
* Checked the stored message part for actual measurement, and optimized the functional overhead reasonably
* Optimized the message flow on the miner side, increased the message capacity of the channel at the same time, and conducted measurement
* The message processing logic is designed to reduce unnecessary information and speed up the response time.
* Iteration of storage sharding based on physical distance
* Designed an atomic operation flow for distributed storage
*JS writing text version management process
*The bottom layer of slate is integrated into the network, and compilation is in progress
Future Outlook
In 2019 Genaro’s technology exploration, code submission, R&D and practice never stopped in all the aspects including the public chain, storage and mining pool.
