Jeff Garzik, Chief Executive of Bloq and a Segwit2x developer, is also a Bitcoin early stage core developer and cryptographer. He has worked on source code software projects for more than two decades. Jeff Garzik and Linus Torvalds worked directly on Linux for more than 10 years. He also worked with Satoshi Nakamoto to create the first blockbuster blockchain application: Bitcoin. In addition to publishing the Amazon S3 distributed storage service “Project Hail” on Red Hat, he is also the lead creator of the ATA subsystem on Linux. Software he developed was used to store data for all Android phones and to power data centers at Linux; obviously, he is among the best of the best.
