I read somewhere that orange is the colour of courage. Courage is what soldiers need to fight in the war and what pushes firefighters into burning buildings to save lives, but sometimes courage can be the strength to face tomorrow.

Sometimes courage is simply the strength to get out of bed and face today.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the determination to live beyond its limitations.

This Courage painting was created with the spontaneous application of thickly applied acrylic paint. Multiple layers of paint and lashings of iridescent inks. An abstract expressionist style of painting, that gives the viewer an experience of energy, passion and the strength of courage.
