Honest secondary ticketing: Introducing the Ticket Market

We’ve got something new — it’s been a long time coming, but now it’s finally here! With our new Ticket Market, it has become even easier to safely buy and sell honest tickets. GUTS Tickets is the initial user of the Ticket Market, and has already integrated it in all current ticket shops.

Where previously all resold tickets were offered through the original ticket shop, these will now be offered up on the separate Ticket Market as individual listings. This initial version of the Ticket Market offers fans and event organizers two benefits:

  1. Tickets that are put up for sale now no longer end up on the same pile they initially came from; all tickets being put up for sale can now be found on a new, separate page with separate listings of tickets per user. (See image above for an example of what this looks like.)
  2. Those who have put their tickets up for sale, are provided with a link that they can easily share to friends, or other platforms, and which directs anyone straight to their specific tickets in the Ticket Market.

More to come!
In an upcoming update, amongst other additions it will also become possible for ticket holders to change the price of their offered tickets — within the margins decided upon by the event organizer of course.

This will provide ticket holders maximum freedom and control in a way that retains total fairness and protection.

We’ll go into this a bit more in the upcoming monthly blog! Make sure you don’t miss out by following us on Twitter.
