Why should you attend the GHCI?

GHCI or Grace Hopper Celebration India is India’s largest technical conference for women in computing and technology. The conference is co-presented by the AnitaB.org India(Cleverly named after the celebrated Anita Borg) and Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) India.

GHCI 2019 is coming up fast & this would be a great time to read WHY, if you are a Women in Tech, you should be attending the GHCI.

  1. Last year 3600+ women attended the GHCI and the numbers have only been increasing. This means if there is one place where you could expand your network to include more women technologists spanning across age groups experience and skill sets, this is the place (Read more about GHCI 2017 impact here).
  2. Look out for inspiring Keynotes( Keynote 1: Lori Beer, Global CIO, JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Keynote 2 — Vaishali Kasture, Managing Director and India Country Head), panel discussions and tech talks.
  3. Attend some well-thought-out workshops in tracks such as AI, Design, Tech for Good, Career advise & speed mentoring sessions.
  4. This year there is a dedicated track for research to get close to eminent research organizations in the country and get to know more about their work.
  5. Attend the Career fair! Meet recruiters who are looking for women wanting to take the next big step in their career, re-join the workforce or to start their tech careers.
  6. Experience some cool demos and interact with the teams that work on the products to make it a reality!
  7. Walk away with some great memories, ideas and cool swag! :)
