‘Donate’ Button on your Facebook Page

There are 3 easy steps to activate your ‘Donate’ button on your Facebook page. Before you begin, please make sure your page’s category is set to “Non-Profit Organization” (directions here if needed)

1) Click on “Add a Button”

Or if you already have a call-to-action created (for example “Contact Us”), then click the pulldown and select “Edit call to action”:

2) Select “Donate” as your button from the ‘Make a Purchase or Donation’ category:

If you don’t see the ‘Donate’ option, you’ll need to change your page category (directions here if needed) and wait a few minutes :)

3) Enter your givemodo URL in the Website field:

You should have received an email from us that has your givemodo URL (it will be of the format [pagename].givemodo.com).

Now you’re all set! When anyone loads your Facebook page on a mobile phone, they’ll see this big Donate button:

Clicking it will take your donor to a mobile friendly Donate page and they can choose to donate via PayPal or credit card
