Gluu Life is founded by two technology and media executives who believe that connectivity empowers individuals and communities. The dream is to build an ecosystem of connectivity that is driven by a crowd-powered platform, because the belief is that the collective network supported by empowered individuals brings about limitless possibilities.

Gluu’s modus operandi is driven by simplicity and transparency — flow comes with simplicity and trust grows from transparency.

Gluu is the world’s first decentralised peer-to-peer mobile data sharing marketplace platform which is supported by an ecosystem of hotspot partners, lifestyle brands and a community of users who share their unused mobile data. The crowd-powered connectivity forms the Gluu Wi-Fi cloud that can connect anyone anywhere.

Concept

The Gluu app allows users with unused mobile data (Givers) to share it with users (Receivers) who need mobile data, to earn its currency called Glits. The Givers earn rewards, deriving value for the unused data that would otherwise be forfeited.

The community of Gluuers is made up of Givers who earn Glits for sharing mobile data and Receivers who purchase and spend Glits to acquire mobile data for connectivity on their mobile devices. As more and more users come on board to share their mobile data, this powers a Wi-Fi cloud that offers the community access to available networks anywhere with just a mobile application.

Each Gluuer has a Wallet which stores Glits purchased and / or earned through Gluu transactions. Glits are used to trade for mobile data or to redeem products and services on the Gluu Store. The Store hosts lifestyle brands and partners with products and services that are relevant and compelling to the community.
