This flowchart shows the signal flows triggered by the Elastic Metrics service. It queries Elasticsearch and pushes alerts directly to Slack and email. Prometheus also pulls metrics from Elastic Metrics, and in turn pushes alerts to PagerDuty via Alertmanager.
