We are very pleased to have the community by our side and the fact that a large number of questions have been asked is important. It is a good opportunity to explain in depth the game mechanisms and other things.

Gold Fever’s team gathered 100 questions from Twitter, Youtube live stream or Discord and in the following lines, you will be able to discover the answers for all those questions.

We hope that the answers provided by the CEO & Founder of Gold Fever — Emilian Ciocanea, will bring light to some of the unknowns and concerns.

  1. Q by ᕫ Cole @na_coleman: Can you explain more about the challenges of integrating an economy within GF and how you will overcome these. In particular the common fear from gamers that the digital items will inflate in price and it will quickly become a case of the richer the player the easier the game?

A: NFTs will most probably inflate in prices because there will be a constant requirement for them and because they are limited, but people will rent them if they can’t afford them, right? So the need to buy is supplemented by the need for rent and there is the yield you can get from this game.

We will have a system in place that controls how many NFTs are active based on DAUA ( Daily Active User Addresses). The plan is to use the beta testing in order to determine what would be a decent number of NFTs that satisfy, for example 1000 DAUA, and then issue enough to create a demand for them in renting/ticketing, marketplace etc.

We will integrate this DAUA in the NFTs and they will automatically activate when the DAUA increases. In this way we can sell as many NFTs as we want without destroying the demand/supply. Of course we will take in consideration the feedback and the observations from our beta testers and later on, when the JBR will be active, we will submit for a vote.

2. Q by jmkoch99: ​What is your favorite in game mechanic so far? What mechanic are you most excited for to implement in the future?

A: The NPC custody. The fact that I can buy an NFT and when I’m not using it I can earn passive income from it is something I worked on with the team for months.

I want to see the mining claims working as they are supposed too since they are the main game loop and now this is what we aim on.

For the future, I want to see how players and guilds use the land to shape the future of the project.

3. Q by Mig uel: ​What is your marketing plan and partnerships?

A: We plan to partner with companies that can bring value to us. Publishers that can help us smooth the path to game influencers and game studios that can help us improve the game design.

Companies that would like to bring their items in our game. Louis Vuitton is one that we would love to bring inside the project. In 1930 they were making some beautiful luggage and people would need that to transport their items. Now imagine a donkey that has a saddle made with their logos and on top some luggage with their pattern where you keep your stuff necessary for Arenas.

You can drink booze in this game so you can improve your morale or disinfect wounds. What if we would use Patron tequila for that?

We also want to partner with hardware companies that could help us open up the game in VR.

Already trying to get famous people as NPC or PCs in the game. We ve some preliminary discussions with Maradona IP owners. We could have him as a NPC that comes monthly during some event, plays some old school demonstrative football, gives quests, sells unique nfts and other things. We could be a Character skin that people play with. We sell it in limited numbers and he goes dig for gold?

Partnerships with guilds are something that we are also exploring behind closed doors. We want to bring a few of them on board to help with feedback and suggestions, and of course if they show some dedication, we will arrange some land, maybe some buildings etc.

A: Gameplay loop designed around blockchain economy is very complex and requires a lot of testing and feedback we are looking for from you during the upcoming beta test!

Q by 李胜利 @TxmwP4MYZnZ1kPO: The third question: Sir, I like GF very much. Which part of the game attracts players most? (that is, the characteristics of the game). The role of businessman in the game is very interesting. Can ordinary players participate? Do businessmen belong to the neutral camp?

A: It’s hard for me to say what attracts them now, but the plan is to give players a game they can invest themselves into and take out as much as possible.

Everybody starts the same way. Creating a character that lives in the GF world. Players will decide how they want to interact with it. Whole concept is around building a player run economy that will require businessmen and skilled players to work.

Q by Fatimah Julian @JuliaWhite22: Where do you see the game going in the next 2 to 3 years, especially its NFT side of things? Also, what do you make of the current NFT market and how do you think Gold Fever will fit in such a hyped and crowded space (meaning the nft market)? Looking forward for the answers!

A: We focus on NFTs with meaning, utility. Complex NFTs that bring value not only by the fact that they look good, but by giving them a role inside the game.

In 2–3 years we will have the entire game open and we will probably open additional chapters.

G: NFT space is very young and changes fast. We plan to adapt and create more meaningful opportunities for players to interact with blockchain through our game.

Current NFT market is as full of opportunities but as full of misconceptions and misinformation in the general public. We plan on changing that!

Q by letis.eth @letiskate: Do you have a price in mind for Lands to mine, Vehicles, Weapons, Avatars, etc…? Will all be JULs priced? Or some will be NGL priced? Would I be able to resell them anywhere if I buy them?

A: We don’t have exact prices in mind, those will be set during extensive playtesting to provide fun and rewarding gameplay. JULs and NGLs will be priced and sold on auctions.

Q by Noah @ketuart02: My concern with NFT Gaming is the fact that most of the games are pay to win because the more expensive NFT you buy, the easier you can win. How Gold Fever will make sure that their game isn’t pay to win & fair? This is important so that the game will keep attracting new players.

A: We will clearly invest 2 win, get skilled 2 win, be smart 2 win, be socially skilled 2 win. We try to simulate reality. Is reality fair? Some people are rich and can afford stuff, some people are poor and can’t, but with work, the poor ones can succeed, so this is what we are going to try and do.

A: It’s impossible to estimate the current progress of project development.

Q by Lee Di @pandalucu66: I Love staking & farming will always be interested in the Staking where investors get passive income from, so What are the Staking Pool pairs at Gold Fever? What makes your Staking & farming ecosystem more attractive to investors & connoisseurs of the Staking ecosystem like me?

A: Obtaining more NGL will surely give you an advantage once we open up the Rights section or if you purchase NFTs that you want to upgrade. The fact that you staked in a pool and then you got some tokens for that, will help for sure.

A: AR no, but VR yes. In a mining game that is connected to the main game. The idea is outrageous but we want to do it once things settle with the main game.

We have some VR specialists on board and that’s why we want to do it.

Q by Noah @ketuart02: NFT gaming particularly those featuring a free-to-play mechanism is clearly the new trend these days. Gold Fever appears to have this as a strong suit. Can you explain Gold Fever Free-to-play mechanism in more details?

A: We want to provide access to GF to everyone no matter if they plan to invest or not, that is why we chose the Free to Play model, but in truth it’s the Play to Earn model.
Currently I can’t provide a lot more details since we are in the process of balancing the economy with investors in mind first. After this process will succeed we will be able to iron out Free to Play experience for everyone to enjoy some gold digging!

Q by Lee Di @pandalucu66: Even crypto veterans are often finding it hard to get a feet into NFT Games. What do Gold Fever think are the biggest hurdles in blockchain Games right now, especially when it comes to mass adoption?

A: Mass adoption won’t happen with the current generation of crypto games because from outside ( the normal gamers world) they all look like a money grabbing machine. Bad graphics, bad stories, bad business models, ponzi like almost but with GF we are hoping to change that outlook!

A: No, you don’t need anything to play GF once it goes public.

A: We are working hard to make that balance fair and fun for everyone involved, A lot of play testing before us, but we have high hopes!”

Q by Fifi @JaLakB4Li: If we are talking about NFTs, then what types of NFTs will be in your game? What is the rarity system? How can users get these NFTs? How will these NFTs differ from each other?

A: We are going to have cosmetics — Masks and Hats done by artists etc, transportation NFTs, buildings NFTs, and many other objets that will be able to become NFT when we give them utility.

Q by F.V. Emilian @f_emilian: I want to know if the game its free to play for people who doesent have money to invest and want to play and grow with farm and strategy?

A: The game is Free2Play Play2Earn, so when the game is released you will be able to start from scratch if you are not able/attracted to invest.

All players play this game for free, all have a chance to go in a free mining claim ( where of course people above a certain experience, status won’t be allowed) and there, the difference will be made by skill. Its a matter of decision what they do with the NGL extracted there, if they reinvest it in upgrading themselves or just cash it out, but I think we are giving more than real life ever gave them.

A: There are no plans for it right now, but we are not closed for it. Right now we are focusing on releasing fun and feature complete game on PC!

A: Only the market will be able to “speak” about this. If our project is attractive people will come, crypto or non-crypto players, making everything move as we expect it to.

A: If you focus on a game as Free 2 Play and not Play to Earn it is perfectly viable to experience it to the fullest… with a certain amount of patience and skill of course!

A:: Gemfi as a whole is a new product, there are no experienced developers on the market. Yet, we are working on that, and even though we can’t be certain how play-tests will shape many features, we are working hard to keep up with our roadmap!

A: Price of JULs will not oscillate, NGL token will be for ingame currency and they will use Polygon chain.

A: The game’s economy doesn’t rely, at this point, on the NFTs that you obtain by playing the game.

Q by Cosmos Japanese ogre @capcosmos: Blockchain games linked to NFT + metaverses and lands have become trending in the crypto space today as they have survived and grown exponentially in the face of the market decline with profitable models for users. So how profitable and fun is Gold Fever with RPG gameplay?

A: That’s for you to judge. We can say it’s the greatest game of all but you might get bored because our game loops don’t include monsters, bosses and stuff like that. Not yet anyway, We might add PVE things at some point, but it’s not the time to focus on that.

Q by Noah @ketuart02: I do not consider myself a professional gamer, in fact I do not play regularly. However, Gold Fever caught my attention and I am interested in starting to play it. Do you think that someone like me, who is not a regular or professional gamer, can easily understand your RPG games?

A: You actually don’t even need to play the game to be an important part of it. The website offers a decent administration of the important NFTs and economic entities.

A: Focus is 90% on the game, 10% of finding potential partnerships that could benefit the game. Once we have the beta playable it will be easier for us to look for partnerships from which the project can benefit.

Can we start playing Gold Fever with a small investment? Will there be any discounts or benefits for early adopters?

A: You can start for free and play this way as long as you want, until you will decide you want to go deeper into directing game economy.

A: NFT 1.0 = art, NFT 2.0 = yield carrying items with utility that can be exploited, NFT 3.0 merge of virtual and real life utility and applications for the NFT .

We are going to have 1.0 (Masks, Hats, cosmetics done by artists etc) and 2.0 the rest of our NFTs.

We have specialists who are on top of changes, news and developments around block-chain technology as a whole, and we plan to keep you with it!

A: Unreal Engine is an amazing tool with an extensive library of tools and guides helping our developers with its use. Metahumans, Lumen, Nanite are the 3 main things that will help us achieve a decent looking game.

Q by Noah @ketuart02: It caught my attention that Gold Fever states that there will be the option to Play for Free on your game,but I was wondering, how much will we be able to play for free and under what conditions? Also, when users can play for free there is often a limited amount of time dictated?

A: We are worried that some players will try to abuse F2P system, so we plan to create countermeasures during play testing to keep in-game economy and game-play fun for everyone paying or not.

Q by Hanh My @Sammy123vn: Ambassadors plays an important role in achieving the goals of every project. Do you have a Global Ambassador Program? If you have, how can I Participate and be an ambassador?

A: We don't but we want to get onboard with this sort of program. We are open to suggestions.

Q by Tony Crypto Trader @cudosinichi9: Gaming Industry & NFT Marketplace are highly adopted already, What makes GOLDFEVERGAME different from other competitors?

A:I can't say for other projects in the gamefi environment but we are building our game with the mind of it being fun and accessible to everyone. We are not focusing on the F2P crowd nor investors. We are hard at work to make those work together in creating amazing experiences and satisfaction to each party.

A: NFTs will be restricted. For example in base there will be a single building from each type. How many donkeys? We will see what is the necessity to cover all the stables + a % dedicated to people that want to use them for themselves. We will take into consideration DAUA when we open more territories, when we mint more animals, boats, tools etc.

A: By not forcing them to understand how crypto works before enjoying the game. That's why they can play without having a wallet, without having eth, matic, or ngl or anything else. We want to allow player to enjoy the game first.

Q by Halos Pham @cryptotrung: You have many competitors in this market area with traditional centralized but really powerful solutions and technologies. How do you think you can compete with them?

A: We are not aiming to compete with those products, I understand that some people might think we build similar games to them, but that comes from lack of understanding of blockchain and gamefi as a whole. We aim to educate and hope that people will soon catch-up with how incredible this tech is for game dev.

Q by Mai phuong @Maiphuong32: As far as I understood it, There is only limited NGL per mining claim, and that's it. The only way to get more, would be to travel to another area with new mining claims. Where you need to invest in infrastructure again?

A: Yes. That's the intended game loop.

Q by Halos Pham | TradeCoin @cryptotrung: In Gold Fever you use FT and NFT. Really I don't really understand the concept of commensurate token, Then what about the FT part of NFT how do we use it every day?

A: Your question is very complex, and it can`t be answered in totality here so i would also ask you to join our discord community.

Simple answer would be that FT will disappear when it gets destroyed or lost and NFT will be returned to you, in a certain time, so you will own them forever ( for NFTs we use a system of "insurance". They are insured forever )

As an example FT items like food will be used so that your NFT ( your character, animals or even some special Wax to upgrade your objects NFTs), to be used at full capacity.

A: We think the beta map cand cover up to 2000 DAU and I m pretty sure its gonna be extremely entertaining with only 500, but this number might differ depending on region.

Q by Tri Tony Crypto Trader @cudosinichi9: Gold Fever is an RPG game. I think the idea of RPG on chain is very interesting, can you explain a little more what the classic Gold Fever game looks like in terms of gameplay? what makes Gold Fever more special than other RPG games??

A: We understand there have been many projects trying to create a game play loop around an economy run by players, but most failed on creating incentive for players to keep it afloat. Here comes GF to change that by creating incentives reaching outside of a game.

Horror. 8 devs worked for 2 months to achieve what we currently have.

We are going to have 1.0 (Masks, Hats, cosmetics done by artists etc) and 2.0 the rest of our NFTs. and what more? Will see how the market will evolve, and so will we!

A: Scalability on the crypto side is obtained by using a matic. On the server side using AWS. For security, we will start bug bounty programs, do audits, use anti cheating services etc.

We might not hype the project now, but we have a reason for that. We are not here to create bag holders. We are here to create value through utility for our token thus creating value in our game.

A: The mining claims won't be depleted too fast, but when the time comes, we will have a way to decide with the community on what we do.

A: With a 3000 sqkm map we can sustain 40k players at the same time fighting inside the mining claims. That means that during a day 200–300k players can get into the project without issues and we will continue to stress test it so we can scale and have ideas how to do it if necessary.

A: The NFTs are quite limited. Not everybody needs to own an NFT to enjoy gameplay. They can rent it from others. The gap will always be. This is the reality. There are rich people and poor people, there are people who are poor but with hard work they become rich there is nothing that stands in the way of enjoyable gameplay which is the final goal. This is what we are trying to do. Give people a chance, but this is not some socialistic/communist sort of game where we expect that everyone is equal.

Crypto players should understand what they represent in the game. To give you a better example. In WOW all the game infrastructure is owned by Blizzard, ya, in gold fever everything is owned by crypto players that purchased the NFTs.

Around the Village Parcel we have 8 more parcels where PVP will be enabled too. Those parcels will always have more gold though so there is some sort of equilibrium.
