Guide to Buried Treasures Commendations
Season Five Challenges
With Sea of Thieves Season Five comes a myriad of new features and tools, and along with those, there’s a whole tab of Commendations to complete in the Bilge Rat Commendation Tab. You’re asked to engage with all of Season 5’s features, and rewarded for doing so- but they’re not all easy. This guide will walk through the Challenges you must complete, and the Rewards they’ll unlock.
Bilge Rat’s Menu
To find these challenges listed in game, you need to go to the Pirate Log in the menu, click on Reputation, and click on Bilge Rats. There, you’ll find the new tab for “Buried Treasures”, where you can track your progress and see all the challenges listed.
The Commendations
Each “Commendation” is a challenge you must complete, and many of them will unlock the option to buy unique cosmetics in the Outpost Shops. There are 31 unique Commendations, and if you complete all of them, you’ll unlock the “Beholder of Buried Treasures” Title
Under each Challenge, we explain how best to complete it, and list the cosmetic(s) unlocked by doing so.
