Danger On the Seas

Larinna this month introduces the issues the Merchant Alliance are facing with their ships going missing, talks about how she wants to prepare pirates for any dangers that may be lurking underneath the surface of the Sea of Thieves, and gives a little bit of light into her background.

What Larinna seems to insinuate here is that the Order of Souls potentially began their Champion of Souls Event out of interest of what was happening with the Merchant’s ships disappearing. Are the two situations connected?

It’s nice to hear Larinna reference her first crewmates whilst she was fresh to the Sea of Thieves, here’s hoping we see more of them one day!

Whispers at the Lagoon

Duke remains by Umbra’s side at the Lagoon of Whispers, but for how much longer? Speaking to him reveals his intent to move on and search for something in the Sea of Thieves, a way to piece together the reason for the events that have unfolded over the course of the roughly last one and a half years.

Umbra seems to be aware of Duke’s reawakened wanderlust, and although not said directly to him, she is willing to support him as the friend she is.

What’s Happening at the Outposts?

Many pirates have noticed that mysterious clearings and marks have appeared on the shorelines of the Outposts across the Sea of Thieves. What could they be hinting towards? Are these the first signs of a new building and Trading Company?

It’s particularly worth noting the Reaper’s Emissary Table has been moved to accommodate this change on Sanctuary Outpost
