A New Beginning
Once in a generation, a new physics paradigm arises that is so different, it reshapes our understanding of the universe. This shift not only challenges the foundational principles we’ve long accepted but also opens up unprecedented avenues for exploration and innovation. Such paradigms compel us to reevaluate the very fabric of reality, driving profound advancements in technology and expanding the boundaries of human knowledge.
I invite you to explore the Timothian Model, a Grand Unified Theory (GUT) that ties Gravity, Magnetism, and Atomic forces into one holistic, mechanistic, and Newtonian-based tapestry. Many aspects of Relativity and Quantum Theory are reconciled with Newtonian mechanics by recasting their empirical data using this new model.
The full documentation of the model traverses many topics and is too technically dense for the average reader. To help introduce this to the world and begin to invite peer review and collaboration, I have started creating summary articles on a few of its top-level topics.
Personal Introduction
Allow me to properly introduce myself so that you can understand how I was able to create this model. My name is Timothy Arthur Jones (full name to distinguish myself from all the other ‘Tim Jones’s in the world!) and my most recent career roles were as a Senior Systems Engineer and Engineering Technical Director. I have held many technical roles throughout my career. You can view my detailed portfolio on my professional website here.
To summarize, my experience spans rocket, satellite, and aircraft avionics, desktop and warehouse sized wind tunnels, RADAR and flight navigation systems, Digital Ionospheric Sounding Systems, the Space Shuttle, communications for International Space Station (ISS), military grade infrared camera and defense systems, and most recently Level 4 Automated Driving Systems (ADS) for self driving taxis and semi trucks.
All of these have all contributed to my deep understanding of complex interactions, processes, and technologies. They provided me a unique vantage point to consider electronics theory, RF energy, vacuums, sensors, and the peculiarities of operating in outer space.
I’ve worked with and learned from some of the most brilliant minds in the world across the USAF, Emerson Motor Company, United Technologies, GE Aviation, L3Harris, Uber ATG, and TuSimple. My direct customers included NASA’s rocket upgrades team, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Navistar, and more.
Final Thoughts
Creating this model has been a core passion of my life, 33 years in the making. Every time I thought I had a complete gravitational and magnetic theory, I realized there was another related discipline I needed to understand and incorporate first to ensure I hadn’t missed something critical. Over and over again, I had missed something. But each cycle tightened the model and strengthened the logic and cross-discipline unification. What started as two overly simple ideas about gravity and magnetism evolved into a full blown Grand Unified Theory.
I twice participated in the Particles, Strings, and Cosmology (PASCOS) conference, but quickly discovered that if I couldn’t explain everything at once, I was unlikely to gain an audience for anything. Any new unified theory requires a huge, multidisciplinary paradigm shift. To that end, I’ve integrated everything within my power into the current version of the Timothian Model. The concepts are easily grasped and intuitive. The real challenge is convincing people to mentally separate empirical data from long standing theories. The former can be taken as fact and must be addressed by any new GUT. The latter must be considered through Occam’s Razor. From my perspective, if it hints at anything non-local, and an alternate local approach can explain the same evidence, I know where to cut.
As I release various aspects of my model, I invite my readers to engage in open discussion and exploration of both the model’s consequences and probative value. While the journey involved many challenges, I believe you will find all the right elements in place.
